The Sage Corps Emblem

The Salvatican Sage Corps that's formed under the guidance of Advisor Noric is best described as one part Secret Police, and one part Elite Military Corps. Not since the Salvatican Revolution has there been a force in the world that promises to make more drastic changes, not only to Salvatica, but all the world. Unfortunately, the organisations intentions are clearly malevolent. They were founded by Advisor Noric, with the blessings of Durval; King Monarch The Sixth after Noric literally promised Durval the world. The Sage Corps he said, would be the force that oversees the defeat of his enemies, and the subjugation of the world. So far the organization has seen to the enslavement and execution of 'undesirables', a broad group ranging from political prisoners, people seen as enemies of the state, rodents, and felines. This is all part of the organizations plan to purify Salvatica prior to their move to other countries. The existence of The Sage Corps has placed massive strains on the country from their two neighbors, Southern Salvatica, and Northern Bull Head. Bull Head has placed sanctions on Salvatica and limited exports, but Southern Salvatica fears an attack if they threaten the mainland with any such acts. Even the Sage Corps one bright spot, 'the advancement of knowledge and technology' program that is rapidly developing Salvatica from an antiquated land of Ragnadon pulled carriages and steam powered engines to one where nuclear power plants exist, and amazing machines like The Exeter Golem are powered by Fusion reactors holds many dark secrets. The Sage Corps is effectively divided into two sections. Research and Action. The research division of The Sage Corps employs the best and brightest of the lands students and educates them in the usage of the technological marvels Noric is bringing into the country from an uknown source. The Action division is a military unit, charged with enforcing Noric's desires. The research division is maintaned by a Head of research, and the ranks are filled below by professors and students. The Military division is under the command of a General, with a Major General under the supreme General, and two Lt.Generals, one in command of each of The Sage Corps two branches, which are known as The Red Corps, and The Blue Corps. Further down the ranks, there are Commanders, and Officers, and a vast number of soldiers, though the Sage Corps primary weakness at the moment is their relatively low numbers. It's widely believed that the vast majority of current Sage Corps members were children abducted from their homes by Advisor Noric and The Death Corps. following the sacrafice of General Cagan Lapis and his men to Felonia in a failed ruse invasion of that country. The families of General Lapis and all his men were liquidated to ensure there would be no one to question the fates of the 35,000 soldiers who lost their lives. Parents, wives, cousins, uncles, aunts, children were all killed in a few short weeks, with many of the children being spared the axe and instead forced into early Sage Corp training camps were they underwent years of phsyical and mental modifications until each was brain washed, and made into a Sage. In order to exapnd The Sage Corps ranks even further (They currently number around 20,000) Noric has had to open the organization up to recruits, but even this is an often dark prospect. There's no shortage of proud Salvaticans willing to join, but few know the horrors that await them at Sage Corps academy. Those unable to become Sages are shown no leniency, and become as slaves, subject to harsh labor or made into biological expirements right alongside rounded up rodents, felines, and the other 'undesirables' The Sage Corps have made life in Salvatica a living hell for.
