Deus Satellite Cannons

By 2118 when construction on Deus was completed, the space high over the planet was littered with the satellite cannons of dozens of nations. The orbital weapons capable of raining destruction from the heavens on the surface with startling precision. These most feared of weapons were incorporated into Deus in their ultimate incarnation. Backed by the power of the goddess, the output of Deus's satellite cannons is well beyond that of all but the largest of orbital weapons of the time. Truly unique from the orbital versions, Deus's satellites are capable of independent flight, able to seperate from the main body and pursue their targets virtually any distance. In addition to this feature, two other unique features were incorporated into Deus's satellite cannons. They have the ability to join together and combine into increasingly more powerful cannons. When all six join up, their output is well above and beyond any other satellite cannons built by mankind with the exception of one. And to even greater effect, the satellites have the unique ability of creating a virtually impenetrable barrier. Just as is the case with the guns, the satellites are able to combine in order to form increasingly more powerful barriers of increasingly greater size.
