The Sage Corps

The Sage Corps of Salvatica is a theoretical impossibility, and it's very existence is an enigma that makes it's existence all the more difficult to believe. An elite group of Sages armed with some of the most advanced technology on the planet, yet hailing from one of the most repressed and technologically primitive societies on the planet. The current super power, Felonia, has heard rumors of the groups formation, and that they may have access to Golems and other advanced weaponry, but they believe it to be little more than Salvatican propaganda. After all, only four years prior to this, Salvatica lost an entire army under the command of General Cagan Lapis in a matter of moments to the now defunct Felonian Military, making it all the more difficult for Felonia to accept Salvatica as any kind of threat. But a threat The Sage Corps are, and all out war between Salvatica and Felonia is all but inevitable. And with Felonia refusing to acknowledge the threat, the only potential impetus to the start of this catastrophic war is
The Black Paw, who have been trying to assassinate Salvatica's leader, and absolute ruler, King Monarch.

Here General Minerva introduces Supreme General Vestial to one of 'The Red Corps' squads prior to a practice excercise. Lt. General Prometheus looks on in muted disdain as he overhears his sister Minerva whispering of the atrocities the squad is capable of commiting in Vestial's name to the Supreme General, bringing a sadistic grin to his face. Nearby, Lt. General Athens, always eager to play the role of the highly trained and disciplined soldier of nobility salutes the squads Commanders, Officers, And Soldiers. Though he feigns pride in their ability to stand at attention, he really wishes someone would flinch due to the presence of the immense Exeter Golems behind them. Athens would then call for the 'cowards' execution as a lesson to the rest of the squad. A lone Sage Corps Pilot makes his way down from his Golem in the distance. Not having undergone the same mindwashing and drugging that their fellow Sages have, The pilots know well to keep their distance from the main force, and will remain at the back of the formation, hoping the Sage Corps upper ranks will have finished amusing themselves at the expense of their lesser ranked cohorts.
