Exeter Golem 360 view

The Exeter Golem comes equipped with the most powerful weapon ever developed by the human race; The Gamma Ray Cannon. The most energetic rays in the world of physics, gamma rays will dissolve armor, vaporize water and rock, and deplete a shield generator of it's power reserves in no time. So powerful are the gamma ray cannons of an Exeter Golem, that a single squad of six has the potential to sterilize an entire continent. But not even The Exeter has the ability to deploy the weapon endlessly. It only has enough power for a single burst at full power, or at most, three shots at the lowest setting. Though even at the lowest setting, the amount of damage wrought by this weapon is slightly more than your average hydrogen bomb. The weapon is actually dozens of gamma ray cannons behind a plate concealed in the pod on the machine's chest. These individual gamma emitters work in unison to produce the single ray. Because the cannon is directly powered by the core, any use of this weapon causes a drop in the machine's performance.

That was the last of them. The shield generators aren't really weapons, so they aren't covered individually. They were mentioned in the introductory images write up though.

Okay, these are basically anti-tank mechs right?

These are basically anti-anything mechs.. They have the GAU cannons, the Hell Storm missiles and the lasers for taking on tanks, the vulcans for taking on troops and lightly armored vehicles, the hell storms, gaus and lasers for taking out structures, the hellstorms and lasers for engaging speedy aircraft, and the gamma ray cannons for taking on uhh.. countries.. :)

Normally you'd engage a Golem with another Golem, orbital weaponry, intercontinental weaponry, (ICBMs or long range lasers) or heavily shielded vehicles like sky battleships. Ultimately the most effective anti Golem weaponry proved to be Sages, with their magical like powers, but in human times Sages were rare.

Sages must be superior then, who can take down a sage?

A Sage with more power basically.
Not all Sages are superior though.. In fact, the vast majority aren't. In the time of humans most of them couldn't fight an Exeter 1 on 1, nevermind an army of them. And in The Black Paw age, most sages can't fight one on one with an Exeter either and hope to win. Of the characters shown so far, it'd just be Vestial, Minerva and Maishara that could.. Oh, and probably Hojo too.. Seeing as even a direct hit from even the gamma ray cannon would just darken him, or maybe turn him into ashes and let him sweep himself up.. He could just pull on a string and have an anvil the size of Everest land on it :D If the set up called for it anyway.

Awesome as usual! Though I did notice the bottom left foot looks a bit weird when it pushes forward to shoot the cannon. it shines through silver and back quickly.

Thanks, that's all of them for the Exeter. Thanks a lot for the note too, I hadn't noticed that! I'll go over it with the animator, if it's not just an issue with the file it should be easy to correct. Thanks a lot for pointing it out though!
