Dantrag

Life in Salvatica's hard. The land's populated by giant insects, the technology level's equivalent to mankind's in the 19th century, the majority of the populace is forced to serve The Monarchy as free laborers either in the armed forces, or as field hands and laborers, and diseases are rampant. But life is hardest of all if you're a Felonian trapped in Northern Salvatica, or "The Land of The Wolves" as they call it. The nation of Felonia invaded Salvatica in the past, and occupied it for almost 300 years. During that time, Native Salvaticans were made into slaves, and treated as an overall inconvenience by the invading Felonians, to be killed or confined as needed. The Salvatican revolution led by Exeter; King Monarch The 1st brought freedom, but the populaces hatred of Felonians for the centuries of oppression continues to the present day. As a Cat in Salvatica, Dantrag was born into a society where his existence is less than nothing. He has no hope of ever earning a single ammonite coin through a hard days work, no hope of moving from the squalid conditions cats are forced to live in on the outskirts of Salvatican cities, and no hope of joining society. And so, the hopeless outcast dedicated his life to the sword. His first rusty blade was a sword dedicated to sheer survival. It was his only means of aquiring a meal, or of defending himself from life's daily threats. When he managed to fell a Salvatican soldier, it was with great hunger that he took his fallen foe's weapon. This second sword opened up a new world of previously unseen opportunity. He became a nameless mercenary, a peddler of death. When word of The Black Paw's exploits reached him, Dantrag realized he had to join. Amongst them, he found the shadowy corner from which he could lurk in silence, and spring forth into action against the one's who had always opressed him that he's waited for his entire life..
