The second of five 'Divine' Class Golems built in the year 2118, this hulking green mass of armor came to be known as Asterion, after the legendary Minotaur. While Deus' design focuses on a number of powerful offensive and defensive tools, Asterions design takes the opposite stance. This Divine Golem has only a single weapon system, and relies instead entirely on it's virtually immeasurable strength and durabilty. The armor of all Divine Golems is an extremely resilient hybrid of materials meshed to perfection using nano machines, and Asterion is the finest example. It's the rare mix and perfect meshing of alloys that gives Asterion it's stone like appearance. It's weapons are a pair of 'Crusher Blade Shields' which serve as the Golems hands most of the time. These hands are removable, and capable of independent operation, allowing for them to fly around and engage targets, or provide mobile shielding for Asterion. But like all the Divine Golems, only when the CNS RipTide Pit that serves as it's core is powered by an appropriate Sage does it's true power become apparent. As long as Asterion does battle on a world, the entire planet is it's weapon, all of the elements at it's command.
